The Maritime Union of New Zealand has issued a statement opposing New Zealand’s military involvement in the Red Sea, on the grounds of maritime security.
“The Red Sea maritime conflict [has] one solution,” said Maritime Union of New Zealand National Secretary Craig Harrison, “an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and negotiation of a political solution for Palestine”.
