not so sure, I think the government will throw WOW and COL under the bus to blame them for the cost of living crisis. Even though it’s the government itself who spends like a drunken sailor who’s part of the problem. Most of the public is too stupid to understand or see that these supermarket giants have margins at or below international counterparts and its razor thin, in fact the margins are lower than 10 years ago. The only reason to quote our socialist government they are making ‘record profits’ is in dollar terms, not margins, because this very government thought it was a good idea to import over 600,000 people (a record) in the last year. Thus increasing the overall customer base, hence of course profits.

overall margins are low, not super profits. Just rubbish from a pathetic government. However, I still see this causing problems for WOW and COL share prices with BS outcomes for the review.
