It's the semantics of long-covid I have difficulty accepting 'after the fact' of so-named covid. It's a convenient 'discovery' based on a novel virus? I have no doubt you suffered from something, but I do doubt the authenticity of what you have been led to believe.
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
50 years ago I had a bout of pneumonia, pleurisy, influenza colds & flu's. Yes, it was severe, I'm sure my lungs were affected as well, it put me out of action but would they have come up with a novel name such as long covid then? Maybe it was long pleurisy, long influenza, long pneumonia?
