"No wotsup, its your imagination that is saying this, I never said such thing, "
You pretty much posted what you have here, or this maybe the same one, in answer to my question to who is the "I" in 1:14 based on the following ONLY option.egó: I (only expressed when emphatic)Original Word: ἐγώ
Part of Speech: Personal Pronoun
Transliteration: egó
Phonetic Spelling: (eg-o')
Definition: I (only expressed when emphatic)
Usage: I, the first-person pronoun.
1:14 he is to later come on the scene -> and dwell in I = who is the "I".
You thanked me for posting it and come up with this "I am" irrelevant nonsense, which does NOT answer the above here.
You simply CANNOT make the word "US" which many Bibles do, out of this ONE Only definition "I".
"ego = I and eimi" = I am = "I am" is NOT in 1:14
The "I" is the Father, hence just like OT times, He is speaking and does so in John in a few places, until Jesus enters the scene after meeting John, and then he becomes God's, Yehowah's, mouth piece, representative for The Word.
"In John 8:58, Jesus says, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am." The Greek phrase used here is "ego eimi," which translates to "I am."
Translates to -> I and I am = two Greek words are used there, one for I and one for I am.
Now look at your Abraham nonsense and falsely linking it to the Ex quote.
The Greek word is - I exist or I am = are YOU SEEING the context of what I am is saying?
All it is saying in a sense is, I was around before Abraham and NOT that I am the I AM from Ex and this is as plain as day.
So then the only thing is, is to let the BIBLE now speak as in, due to Luke which shows Jesus's beginnings and NOT to mention that Jesus is speaking in the here and now and about the MAN Jesus himself, of which we know full well did not literally exist before Abraham = so what context is Jesus referring to and the Bible is LOUD and clear in this regards.
John 5:39 - You search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Gen 3:15 - And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Rev 13:8 - And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Eph 3:9 - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things -> (Alone and by himself Isa 44:24 on account of, by reason of, for the sake of, the future one to be, born from Mary).
Hence in the above context, in the mind of God = Before Abraham I am -> in the plans of God = 17:17 - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Just like his answer to the likes of, are you Jesus of Nathareth = I am = as in yes I am, is the only way he ever uses and intends the meaning of the I am is.
So when the translators added I am He it is very clear that they were reading the context to be, just as I have shown "I am" to mean.
Those at the time possibly have an excuse for misunderstanding Jesus, to which he just gave up on and walked off, but WE have NO excuse for any misunderstandings and most definitely, should not be accepting their misunderstanding as truth and doctrine.
In other words, we should not be foolish like them and accepting error, to align with the tradition of men.
