At this stage the only cost they can trim is the fixed overhead such as staff cost, power bill etc. However the main cost is the operating cost which is in my view a function of efficiency and scale.
Mgt can work on efficiency but scale is the main issue, we're not big enough, producing large enough quantity to reach that economy of scale. The reason Pls cost is much lower is because of scale.
the only way we can increase scale is through substantial price increase and that is the main issue for cor.
