Aclara (TSX) listed just released their scoping study/PEA for their Brazilian ionic clay project Carina. Very useful for predicting MEI's scoping study, as it is a very recent study (inflation taken into account), in Brazil (same location) and same type of process and similar scale. Interested in everyone's thoughts??

CAPEX: $576m USD for a 9.6 mtpa feed or $60m USD per mtpa feed rate capital intensityI think the amateur broker reports have well undercooked their capex estimates for MEI, assuming $200m USD for a 6 mtpa plant. Based on this capex would be ~$360m USD and that's assuming no scale efficiency losses going down from Carina's ~10 mtpa to the broker's assumed 6 mtpa for MEI.
