It's the event it represents which has to be changed as currently the landing only applies to Sydney, and it's only been 30 years since it was National. If the numbskulls engaged their brains they would see how silly it all is, and the outrage is based on zero.

The day our constitution was signed, or the day it was ratified is seen as the birth of Australia. That makes far more sense to me, and would mean 100% of Aussies can celebrate and not just 97%.

The constitution was and still is racist, so no use celebrating the day it came into force.

Truth is, no date will be good enough for everyone.

There's many more real life things going on that need attention, than this subject.

It's repetitive and boring.
