Well as far as the aborigines are concerned – they canthank their lucky stars that it was the British who arrived to settle thiswonderful country.
Or can someone please tell me which country would youprefer to of settled into this land called Australia ?
I can assure you one country would of.Aborigines would not be here throwingboomerangs in 2024 , all on their lonesome.
Before the British arrived , with the French only 2weeks behind , the aborigines were mostly nomadic , with almost no life as weknow it, today.
Do you really think by now that no other country wouldof settled into Australia and taken ownership , and still in the 21stcentury that Aborigines would still be the only persons living on ourcontinent.
Have a read of what the French did to the Vietnamese ,What the Dutch did in Indonesia , What the Spanish did in the South America’s ,What those from Belgium did in the Congo.
It was extreme luck for the Aborigines that it was theBritish that settled in Australia. Instructions given by the King at that timeswas to treat any person they found with care and humanity – and that is whathappened.Yes , there sure was someshocking incidents by some of the British settlers , many years later , but notat the direction of the British Government. Always some bad apples in the box.
Much has been done for the Aborigines in the pastcouple of centuries , that would never of been done by the other countries , ifthey had arrived first.
What should be celebrated on January 26 , is thecoming together of 2 very different types of cultures , with some thought on thisas - , “Thank God it was the British whoarrived first “ , cos some other country sure would of , and I am very sure thatwould have been a far bigger disaster for the Aborigines.Nothing can be perfect , but l believe thereshould be far more positivity on January 26 – there really is much to celebratefor all people. But instead the woke lefties are using Australia day for negativity, instead of celebrating a great nation for all.
