The psychology of trolls....
I notice there are posts replying to people I have placed on ignore. My personal take on trolls....
In the early days of posting on HC I read everything .... these days, the moment a person posts low quality, non contributing, obnoxious stuff I don't hesitate.... straight on to ignore they go.
A troll is a person who envies success, wants success but doesn't have the guts to take the risks that goes with it. So, instead they harp on the negatives, constantly emphasise what might go wrong and delight when they are proven correct because it relieves them that they dodged a bullet and were right not to take the risk.
In the stock market they are frequently proven correct because success is uncommon.
But, when they get it wrong and the stock takes off and proves to be profitable they slink away bitter and twisted. They were too afraid to put their money on the line.... and when the next opportunity comes along they will again be afraid, will repeat the same troll like behaviour desperate to be proven correct that they were right to be afraid.
