Hi all listening to Cooper energy Quarterly Conference call just to get some insight into gas markets . They mentioned a report from ACCC late 23 which states all contracts (GSAs) between mid and late 23 struck at between 10-20 GJ . They also mention there recontracting late 23 was the best possible outcome for company
As I mentioned in a previous post - recent bass gas agreement to supply gas to Vic until 2032 required an exemption which suggests price north of 12 gj. Significant because this is a LT contract
The above is why as a Comet shareholder I am excited waiting fire news flow but also relaxed as to if it arrives this week or next month
