we all know now that treasury works with the government of the day to do their budgets
they don't work with the opposition
it is not likely that treasury would come out and say the costings they had been working with the government were wrong.
All this would have been lost on the average voter.
the coalition was on hiding to nothing over this issue and the Labor party knew it.
When Labor was in opposition they didn't hand in their costings until the very last moment
what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
I would say the coalition was looking for anything excuse possible to slow down or even abort the process.
A leak happened (that is a fact) and they capitalised on it.
good on em
pity we didn't get rid of these power hungry union controlled clowns.
