Around 1984 I worked at Bamboo Creek, if you have not heard of it it's about 65km N/E of Marble Bar. After that I worked as a heavy duty tyre fitter in Karratha.
Funny I didn't drink from the age of 16 when I started work on the prawn trawlers until I worked at Bamboo Creek were I drank Cider. It was working in Karratha I started drinking beer, after a day in the sun fitting tyres to trucks and earth movers, two beers would go down with out touching the sides
