    Point taken insected regarding revenue.
However it sticks in the craw that the people reducing the SP, benefit from rules not available to retail. How come I can't buy/sell one share? Why are others allowed to alter the market price after the market is closed? Etc etc.
No doubt these are novice questions but even the uninitiated can sense the playing field is not even. Yet I'm expected to accept this because it is somehow for the greater good; in an environment at the cutting edge of capitalism.
The again, capitalism relies on the exploitation of lesser types-in this case it is retail investors.
As an aside, The Age had a great article this week extolling the virtues of shorting. The usual 'stuff', liquidity...and the rest. It mentioned another argument against shorting I haven't read on these threads- namely the issue of geopolitics. Foreign entities shorting technology stocks to snuff them out in their infancy. Hmm...
So, the moment the ASX deemed WBT's Tier 1 announcement as not price sensitive, I felt a great sense of unease about the local/small town investment ecosystem.
Another non-price sensitive judgement call by the ASX on our next Tier 1 and I will be making a call to the Federal corruption commission to ask them if there is anything worthy of investigation-better than eating the usual foul tasing sandwich the shorting defenders expect us to swallow.
