what you have done is to take two totally different countries - two different political philosophies, two different cultures and you’re trying to compare them

you can’t - not just on numbers.

if one takes health - it’s very different. The cost to individuals here is far cheaper than Oz - because Fr treats health more as a right and the state looks after it

it’s the same with income - many things in Fr, the state supports or supplies- so individual costs are less , but tax is more

you’re trying to compare apples and oranges
