shamall, I applaud investor relations for contacting you, and Peter Cook is renown for returning calls, responding to shareholders concerns and overall general niceness. Problem is all investor relations positions is to keep you on the line, keep you hanging on, and they certainly are not going to crap in their own back yard, it's a bit like piss in my pocket and tell me it's raining type of stuff.

For example I owned shares in a biomedical company, the company had a big pharma organisation on the books, there were concerns about that company backing away from a deal. I spoke to IR regarding the matter, they told me "I can't see why they would walk away" guess what, two days later the big pharma company pulled out of the deal.

moral of the story, Investor relations are not to be trusted, no matter how much they elay your angst regarding your losses.
