Selby at 17.35 in that interview: 'our stock is as low as it's going to go'
....
2 weeks later it is 10% lower.
Also interesting that Nick states that larger shareholders of LOM are 'sticky' - I don't think that is entirely accurate. There have been a huge number of major holders come and go over the years. I also haven't seen much action from larger holders on market in recent times - eg. notices of substantial holders increasing their position. It seems that Ross Stanley has been playing a lone hand. Also don't recall any other Directors buying on market for a long time, despite the all-time lows in our share price. I remember Miles Kennedy's comments in an annual report years ago - compelling investment opportunities can only be ignored for so long. Those words didn't age well.
I hope that larger holders and funds are supportive of the consolidation - and we start to see some buying on market on the back of it, if the vote is successful.
It is a pretty simple equation - increase the demand for LOM stock and the price will go up. We have been drowning in a sea of supply for way too long.
