It hasn't worked out too well for Ukraine - a catastrophic disaster in fact and getting worse by the day at the moment. And of course experts have flagged the distinct possibility of Russia annexing a further four oblasts, (Odessa, Mykolaiv, Dnitropetrovsk, and Kharkiv), before this war comes to an end.
