Yeah they definitely got this one wrong. Difficult thing with shorting is that it is naturally a short term strategy and so you have to be able to time things (which of course is virtually impossible). Guessing many of them held onto their shorts assuming this would head back down, and now I'm sure they must finally be realising what is going on here. They're screwed IMO
