    The Australian Institute of Research is a lefty think take.

    They on about the diesel fuel rebate (rebate; a partial refund to someone who has paid too much for tax, rent, or a utility) and not a subsidy (subsidy; a sum of money granted by the state or a public body to help an industry) so I call bs.
