@Tarvold; there's a lot more to the Antarctic story than you just submitted in that post. Countries including the USA, China and Russia are chamfing at the bit to run amok and exploit its mineral resources and of course its tourist potential.

Your apparent belief that British Colonisation was a fair, just and credible process is noted. I don't subscribe to your decision to ignore British white supremacist deceit, theft, racist exploitation, atrocities and genocide which characterise what 'Great Britain' did as it spread its sphere of influence like a cancer throughout the World.
