Since Warren Buffet took out a big long position by effectively selling Dow Puts in my view he cant be considered to be totally objective in his calls.

the propping of the Dow over the last couple of weeks, with weak sessions that end up in a rally to finish with small positives is very reminiscent of Dec/Jan. The result was a subsequent big fall.

I cant see any reason to think stocks will do well. I read recently how well capitalised the US banks are according to the European counterparts. My question is how have the become so well capitalised, repossessions last month were at a new record, all the toxic assets are still there but the accounting rules have been changed in terms of how they are valued. If it is true that US banks are now the ones that are considered healthy we are in deep trouble.

A zero interest rate environment and people still cant bring themselves to buy stocks and the economy still cant grow. Thins are broken in a very very bad way
