    G'day Funky.

Ive been pondering what MIGHT come of the weekly INTERNAL trend thats been set over the past few wweeks on the back of these large issues.

One would have expected at least a drop to the gap up support of 5.4c but it simply has not occured.Your comments,

"That was indeed the case but it was also full of hidden buying, (remember the sm always buy on down bars and sell on up bars) we could only guess it was a possibility yesterday because of the high volume, but was confirmed by our narrow spread bar today still on good volume, that finished within the range of yesterdays bar and finished with a higher close."

Not only apply to last weeks trade but if one looks closely at the previous 3 weeks the pattern of trade(buyers behind the selling) has been the same EVERY week with a slight rise in volatility last week, no doubt due to the signing of the Mashala deal.

BUT what is IRREVOCABLY UNDENIABLE is that this stock is trading relatively tightly AND holding well above a recent gap-up all on the back of some of the largest placements of shares Ive ever seen in a spec stock.

Add to this the majority of the placement was done to Macquarie, which has some interesting conotations on its own, for where the sp might be taken as long as CCC can keep to their current plans, and one has a recipe for some solid moves.

In other words, even though CCC does not have a major fund backing(and why would it at its current size) it seems to have someone/something(perhaps just the story is enough!)that has quite a bit of faith in what CCC is doing.Perhaps its Macquarie, perhaps not.

I guess we wait on just what those analyst report/s MIGHT have to say. These guys would no doubt have been waiting on CCC bedding down the order/speed at which they will develop their projects, and on the back of the spp oversubscription, there may well be another project, such as Wesselton, factored into the next 18-24 months project devlopments. No point in putting out a report thats obsolete when its released.

Indeed its interesting to watch what happens with CCC on those tightening bars, particularly 13/7,22/7 and 10/9.The good thing for us is that CCC trades like a blue chip yet is a spec, so that the chart tends to be much more statistically significant and its very hard to hide the markets(manipulating traders in combo with buyers) intentions as it might be with much lower volume specs.
