Since then there has been the announcement of the order for an alpha design GaN DSB, which I believe would be the first commercially available device of this type.
Granted, it will take many years for some of these customers to develop their products and ramp up their own sales. However, among the earliest will likely be industrial equipment customers (cutting, welding 3D printing), which are of particular interest as the laser diode will tend to be a consumable in these applications.
Further to these customers for BLG products, there are also foundry services customers, including some that may have come with the recent acquisition of GaNWorks.
