I'll try and keep it simple because I'm a fairly simple guy. Its the shareholders who take a risk to fund a mining company to dig up those resources. Without investment who will do the digging, perhaps the "Australian community"

Those "finite resources" are worthless without some dumb bunny ponying up some cash.

Everyone has the right and opportunity to partake. I'm tired of people who think its their God given right to have their pockets stuffed with money without doing a thing.
