they won't eat it all,but contamination of insects in grain will mean more segregations,and longer time in storage.
graincorps profits increase as time of grain stored increases.
rapid harvesting to beat the insects means [if graincorp opens its receival points longer hours] the central system will be neccessary,as on farm storage cannot keep up with modern headers going flat out.
only a guess, but the big rains mean a big crop,quality does not matter to graincorp profit.
