CNB and why it is STILL undervalued!!, page-1918

Well what to say about the market and CNB?

The market:
S&P500 at all time highs
ASX200 at all time highs
Copper resuming its upward march - about 10% below 12mth highs, but well above 12mth lows
Analysts putting out warnings about 2024 copper demand outweighing supply. Albeit China's stalling recovery still putting the breaks on imo.
Gold showing strength about 5% below all time highs
But it seems the junior mining / exploration market has been smashed across the board and not *yet* benefiting from these broader market moves

And CNB:
A resource defined and a scoping study on track for release within 2 months
Discussions underway with Glencore for processing. Possibility of mining in 2025
Exploration has slowed however - first due to the MRE, then Summer break, now it seems weather
But plenty of exploration upside, and plenty of cash in the kitty. (and lets not forget the WA projects too)
Out of the junior explorers in the Mt Isa region, CNB would appear to be the 'first pick' for any corporate activity or consolidation efforts
Yet the share price languishing just above 2yr lows.

Many variables at play - but the junior market seems to be the most influential here imo. I look at other exploration 'success stories' of the past 2-3 years like GAL and RTR and see they are only a shadow of their peak valuation.

The junior market will turn one day - it always has. I expect it to follow the general market and the mineral prices - eventually. Will a potential suitor try to make their move before this happens?

Fingers crossed for a solid run commencing soon. I think if it does it will more likely to be triggered by a change in market sentiment than exploration outcomes. We'll see.
