The following is based on my personal research ( I am not Peter Voigt):
Peter Voigt was born 1952. He established Clean TeQ in 1990. In 2021 a demerger took place: Clean TeQ has renamed to Sunrise Energy Metals and Clean TeQ Water is now its own publicly listed entity (ASX:CNQ). It is not known when Peter will retire but I reckon he won't retire (as CEO) before the new strategy has been fully established. CNQ will look for a new CEO when that goal is achieved. I have no insider knowledge but I am quite sure that Peter will join the BOD and the new CEO will mainly be responsible to deliver the new strategy. So they will not look for a "magician" or the like...
CNQ is making good progress so when a new CEO is announced you/we will know that the new strategy is completely established.
Peter seems indeed competent and trustworthy. I assume that he wants CNQ to be successful and is not looking for a quick exit.
