Sayona's (not SYAQ) starting cash balance was $233m and ending balance $158m inclusive of SYAQ net loss of $43m and SYA net loss of $32m. Therefore, they have paid it, it couldn't be clearer.
Otherwise, if there was a positive opening cash balance that was not shown then the SYAQ net loss would have applied to Sayona's cash balance MINUS this SYAQ positive opening balance.
