I say DSO is "simple" compared to building and operating an LFP plant.
DSO is at its very basics digging up dirt (ore) and shipping it.
Logic would dictate if AEV cannot do DSO in a timely and economic fashion, then the chances of building & operating an LFP plant are very low.
