He is a banker - and from that perspective, he understands capital and liquidity. Cap raisings are not needed at the moment thanks to good leadership on that front. So I am hesitant to say that he is not up to the job.

On the contrary, he has hired very good people. Good managers employ strong people, and he has done that. And it will bear fruit.

His communication is a tad dodgy though. He needs to get press such as The Good Oil, and others, actively involved in this drill, else the market will focus on short-term "bad" news and not focus on the big picture.

I am guessing that he doesn't actually give a toss about the short term gyrations of the share market. Like most CEOs, he is focused on "building long term value for shareholders". That said, this objective is ignorant of the fact that a large portion of market liquidity is generated by the small end of town. Right now, for example, I am convinced that the A3 drillbit is actually "drilling ahead" in my sphincter, rather than in some distant Cuban oilfield. It hurts, a tad.

All that said, markets look their best at the top, and their worst at the bottom. And right now the SP looks pretty shoddy, and therefore represents excellent buying opportunity. McDaniels will publish their upgraded numbers within the month, and TD on A3 will be fast approaching. There are no more non-black-swan impediments out there standing between us and 10 cents.

Bit of a BOGOF deal here at the moment (compared to the 12 cents of last year). Gerry Harvey would be impressed.

    Regards
    Kit
