ridingricho I’m not if you’ve read a peace by Alan Kohler in his weekly column, where as jm69 pointed out, China is heading in the same path as Japan did in the ‘90s , economy based everything on export, and by 2005 Japan nearly went broke, and still to this day they’re paying the price, no matter how pragmatic and understanding they’re might be, the population 60-70% , if not more have put their hard earned savings in the markets, so if they’re to loose it, it’ll be a massive backlash , that’s why Xi needs to try and convince that population they need to start consuming more ( big time) to try and avoid the Japan end of ‘90collapse. anyway that’s my opinion and I might be way off track here, cheers Lw
