Yes it's far from impressive at the moment.
last I spoke to the company, which was a while back, I figured they had a couple strategies.
Basically get the easy ore at crusader Templar mined by a contractor to fund ongoing exploration, I don't hate the idea, even in that tiny mre released last year there is quite a bit of value if done right. All our problems potentially go away for a while. If they manage to mine 50,000 ounces and nexus can get 400 bucks an ounce then we are talking 20m already, enough to make a lot of other things happen.
next option is that it's all a bluff, they force suitors into offering a buyout, because if it doesn't happen then the above option happens and the resource is gone, instead of locking in cheap ounces in the area, NST by their lack of action bring in another producer in the area.
See what happens, to my knowledge the mining studies are just ongoing with no set expectation for it all to come to a head. Hopefully soon . They can't keep printing the same few lines in their quarterlies regarding wallbrook forever.
