China want market share and with a mining refining supply chain (subsidised as necessary) they can do this without dependence on Australia (to a degree) therefore lepidolite roasting works for them. I doubt the local markets care about esg they want cheap small vehicles. With PLS ramping to 1mt it suggests they have markets further afield which aligns with the slower battery manufacturing build up USA Europe. LTR can do the same perhaps. just need experienced strong management. 2024 and Tony's converting oppies. wish I had cash instead of. big trading lithium loss lol
