Before you worry about who you should follow, re Paul, I suggest you get back to basics like John 17:3 and find the Real True God and True Jesus, the Literal 2nd Adam MAN that grew in favor with the True God and Father, to the extent he was well pleased with him, and ordained this 2nd Adam MAN.

You know the word = -> 1:14 and the word -> And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things -> become flesh............Luke, the word Eph - expressed forth from Yehowah to the angel to Mary.
You cannot refute this with Bible truth.

Where does the Bible show it was hidden -> John 1:1 In beginning was the word and the word -> And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things -> was -> (ongoing, in progress =) toward the God and God WAS the Word (God was/is Word).
He is the word, because while your word is in you, it is you.
There was also a Gens creation plan in 1:1 as well, shown to have been expressed by 1:3, by Yehowah alone and by himself Isa 44:24. and God said, and God said and NOT Jesus said.

And LOOK what these people in 2 Tim can rightfully ask the Father for zbusc and they like Jesus, were not with the Father.
John 17:5 And now glorify me You, Father, with Yourself, with Glory (I) held before the world existed, with You.

Even if we leave the word "I" there, which NO Greek word supports it, those in 2 Tim can ask the Father here, just as Jesus did
Only two things in this verse were with the Father = Glory and before the world existed with him.
The fact of the matter is, the God and Father ALONE held this glory, he sees things not yet done as though they are.

Rom 4:17 - (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
