Australia is pretty much the Chinese back yard as far as big business goes.

But yeah, you're right. Without US's constant meddling in internal affairs of countries, without their dozens of regime changes, their efforts in creating and sponsoring terrorist groups, their 250+ military interventions since 1991, which resulted in millions civilian deaths, and an enormous amount of destruction, the world definitely wouldn't have been as safe as it is now.

Russia would have invaded Europe, North Korea would have invaded US, Iran would have invaded the whole of Middle East, China would have invaded everything else and emperor penguins from Antarctica would have probably taken over New Zealand and installed their dictatorial regime, forcing New Zealanders get genetically modified in an effort to create a human-penguin hybrid super race.
