So instead squawking about "offshore processing", "stop the boats" "invasions" etc etc how difficult would it be for the Lab and the Coalition to come up with a reasoned sensible policy that takes into account our international obligations, our capacity, humanitarian concerns and cost effectiveness.

Lock 3 from each party in a room and tell they can't come out till they agree. They'd be out by sundown.

Its a non issue that wastes to much time.
