Albanese might as well say there will be not carbon tax under a government I led or LAW tax cuts.

...all that aside...the inflation genie, interest rate hikes and the like are a direct result of many more reasons, decisions and issues both internationally and domestically that are way more complex than you profess...

...Albo under sustained pressure from various sources has gambled on (apparently) 84% of taxpayers being better off with the changes made to the stage 3 tax cuts. Talk is that the dud spud Dutton is likely to support the changes after wedging the LNP perfectly when the changes were first announced...

...Albo has Dutton exactly where and how he wants Dutton and the LNP to be perceived as....

Albo has simply looked at a risk/reward ratio with the stage 3 tax cut decision...it's a gamble likely to pay off imo...the average Joe is hurting and hurting badly...policy flexibility is everything...

...with interes rates looking like they may fall over the next 18 months and extra cash in their pockets, electors will give Albo a second term...

imo, the real pain is being felt by those individuals and families forced out of rental accommodation through massively increased rents...local, state and federal governments must adopt a holistic policy and action plan now, not in 6 or 12 months time
