the PR by the govt has been swallowed unquestioned by Ch 10, SBS and ABC news tonight...perhaps on more tv news reports as well!
One even said more people driving hybrids would save money, where in reality hybrids are being taxed heavily !
they went strong with saying it was a "cost of living " measure!!!
yeah, if you buy a new car , which costs lots of money, and one of the so called fuel efficient ones only...electric cars will still be dear and depreciate due to battery replacement needs!
Its a cost of living and freedom of choice impost, that's what it is
