F@$k me, this can be a tough room populated by the tone deaf. Especially with the schadenfraude crowd who are looking for someone to blame either for the outcomes of questionable decisions they've made re share purchases, or what is a current unilateral global slump wrt rare earths.

Give the guy a break - he's just lost his job from a company he's been dedicated to for 17 years and while that's arguably too long to stay somehwere anyway, for many shareholders, (myself included) there has been no 'value destruction' based on the price that they got in at - in fact the opposite.

You may be happy for people to dance on your grave if you were in the same situation, but if so, maybe keep that sentiment to yourselves rather than piling on like a pack of imbecile private school boys on a Melbourne tram.
