There is a lot of improvement left in ICE yet.

Synthetic fuels will be developed and there are a lot of benefits in having more Co2 in the atmosphere.
Just look at the growth rates of trees and vegetation with more Co2. There is plenty on the internet regarding that.
The trees and plants will absorb the Co2 and the production of food will improve exponentially.

The problem is there is no negative in that for the left to be able to scare little children and oldies.

I know that that will not be popular with left- wing governments who are desperate to see China grow at the expense of the West.

The market will decide the issue and governments will have to wake up to that.
Improve EV's until they are better than ICE and there will be no complaints.
I will buy one myself then, but trying to force them upon the market is sure to confine then to the scrap heap.

ICG will be a part of the journey with copper and other minerals.
