"...my last post killed that stone dead ..."

Yet you still failed to provide ANY evidence that proves, that Russia's intentions were to steal land.
I've provided you with plenty of proof that blows your whole "land grab" theory out of the water.

"...but if it WAS about security .....russia has lost big time..."
Well, Russia has won as far as that particular region is concerned.
Ukraine is being demilitarized. And it won't become a part of NATO as long as there's territorial conflict. Which means that in the future, if Ukraine wants to become a part of NATO, it will need to legally recognize the fact that Crimea and whatever territories Russia gets in the upcoming negotiations - are Russian.

"...Finland has doubled the NATO border and is within spitting distance of St Petersburg ...
And what's so important about St Petersburg? The fact that it "doubled the NATO border" is not really that important, if you consider the actual territory where that border is located.

"...And this apart from all the other russian lossses due to this war, and they are huge and many...."
Pure speculation. You've got no clue on what the real numbers actually are. Whatever estimates are floating around out there are guesswork at best.

"...all russia has gained only 10% more of Ukraine in two years to what they held pre-war..."
That's 10% of territory that Ukraine will highly likely not see under it's flag again any time soon.

"...In 2023 , no net gain by russia of territory..."
In 2023, no net gain by ukraine of territory either, despite the 100bn dollar counter-offensive, that was meant to drive the Russians out completely.

"....this war has been an unmitigated disaster for rusisa.."
Oh tangs, your concern for Russia is so endearing. What about Ukraine?
    - 100's of thousand dead or injured
    - millions have fled
    - Infrastructure being obliterated
    - Economy in shambles and totally dependent on EU/US handouts
    - Ukrainian population will be paying off US/EU military "aid" (aka loans) for decades to come
    - 10% of territory lost

And no end in sight, so these numbers will keep stacking up
