It might be sad to see for a non holder like yourself, but personally I feel relieved that at long last some very competent and hard working staff will get some decent rewards for the long hours they have put into Rocklands. If it wasn't for the dedicated efforts of many staff, above and beyond the call of duty, the project wouldn't be at the advanced stage it is currently.

Many of the employee option packages in the past have been based on incentive, and despite an enormous amount of work getting done, the recipients of the options have gone unrewarded as the strike prices were in many cases too high.

Achievable rewards in terms of strike prices that will deliver nice bonuses, might meman that the company gets to retain valued staff who will in turn be energised to ensure that the project is fast tracked into production and that additional exploration turns up trumps.
