We run a business. We pay wages to our employees and we in return expect a fair weeks of work. We also have performance based incentives, where when they hit their targets, they also get a percentage of the sale. If we were to make these targets unattainable, we would soon have demoralised staff. So the more they make, the more we make. The same thing applies to cdu, its a business and don't forget that those employees also work for us shareholders so not only will they reap the rewards for their efforts but also us as shareholders will benefit.
