Could the Innovation IP be a last ditch attempt by management, to get some form of protection, albeit not as strong a form of protection as a Standard IP, that they can use to try and get TINCOM to continue on with the joint venture.
The original standard IP was filed on the 24th of September 2004, under the name Maddingley Coldry Pty Ltd, the name was changed to ECT Coldry Pty Ltd, on the 4th of August 2010.
This application for a standard IP has been going on for ages, ESI could be running out of time with players like TINCOM and hence the poorer cousin, the Innovation IP.
Its like they have tried to get the best protection available, but thats not working, so decided to get the next best thing, the innovation IP and then apply to have it examined, which they are currently doing. They requested for a full examination of the Innovation IP on the 3rd of September 2010. Hopefully Jott don't put their hands up.
Whatever is going on, they are not not coming out with any information regarding the matter of the IP's. There have been no Appendix 3Y's, no Dong, no feasability study, and no recent news at all. WHATS GOING ON?
I must say that I know nothing about the IP process except what I can get off the IP Australia website, so maybe I am reading it all the wrong way.
Please ESI give us something, patience and dollars are running low.
