Really, then I guess you have not learnt anything when it comes to women. The majority now work because they have to - end of story. They wanted their lifestyles and chose to get out into the workforce, but what they're now left with is a situation of where there is no longer an option - they have to work to maintain that lifestyle, and with it their mortgages.

Everything is much nicer when one is not forced to do something - that era is now over. What was a nice little bonus for our women in the past has backfired and made life hell for them in the process. 2 wages are now needed to buy home, and if you have kids then you are eventually 'forced' to continue to work due to high living costs. This places immense strains on the family unit, what with soaring child minding costs and the like.

But to my last post, even if these women are working because they want to, if their jobs are lost due to a downturn in retail caused by higher interest rates, then our economy will take a double blow.
