Definitely not ignorant mate - I just know how far money can be stretched but it seems too many don't know what they can really do with their money. If people really don't like it as it is now where dual incomes are required then we will see a gradual shift over the next couple of decades back to single income families - it is not going to happen overnight though.
At the end of the day people took on their debt obligations so they have to live with the consequences.
