Not many people speak of Trump as a risk to EV's, but his motto is drill drill drill, has openly stated that EV's are stupid and from all reports things between he and Elon are ICY.

Alot hinges on the election and is part of my checklist for getting back into PLS.

American domestic might stay staunch, but those who rely on exports have no choice, and imported cars will be EV as per above.

this is outside of trumps control - this is global and bigger than him!

my bets are that Govt’s around the world will need to subsidise car makers just like China has done the past few years to keep up. The impact of not getting ahead will affect labour and the economy in a big way.

The average of the current polls has Trump +2.1%. Of course, there’s more than nine months left before the election, which is an eternity in politics. Just pointing out that ABC is lying to you.

USA is going to become less relevant in the auto industry. Article 14, Section 3 cannot put Trump or anyone else in prison. If CONVICTED of treason, which is VERY hard to do and hasn’t happened since 1952, when the last of the WWII Nazi and Japanese collaborators was convicted, then he can be banned from holding federal office.

Keep in mind, he’s not been convicted of anything, yet, in spite of many, many attempts. Odds are that he still won’t be convicted come November (between the four trials, he might be convicted, but probably not in the next nine months; the wheels of justice grind very slowly here).

I think the mighty orange one is a complete tool, but Biden is, if anything, worse, though at least his handlers can keep him off social media. I can’t believe that these two are allegedly the best and brightest in our nation of 330M, and may be forced (for the second time in my life) to basically waste my vote on a third party candidate, because neither of these two men have ANY business being POTUS.
