I'm in agreeance with Flambeau here that if its only offshore then its pretty much dead if they can't get a pipeline connected to the mainland. People forget that pipeline and gas processing facilities require environmental approvasl by the states like Western Australia so its not all federal government controlled

There are huge untapped fields in the North West shelf region that are still untapped as its too expensive to run operations solely offshore without a pipeline.

The only recent one has been in Tanzania but that is a 60Tcf field that is shipping gas to Europe which is very different economics from PEP11
