We know it's past tense, but the story past tense is not going to go forward and then leap backwards, as in Jesus coming to his own and then jumps back in the womb of Mary at or just before 1:14 = DRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

The language in verse 15 re John the Baptist, is not picking up on Jesus just being made flesh either, it's in the following context; And the Word Man (existing Luke) became = on the scene and dwelt...........
Not and the Word became man....... That would be messing around with the truth of what "became". Deluded people think they say the same thing = NO WAY.
