I had a chuckle listening to Alan Kohler when the deal fell through. He mentioned that both companies announced that they had concluded discussions.
He said, looking at the share prices since the news broke, he was fairly sure who did what.
It could have been a decent merger at the right price, but I'm happy with the outcome.
